Random Acts of Kindness

I've thought a bit about what to write.

Then I had a bad shopping experience, with no satisfaction from the customer service department and I thought "Ah hah!" I will write my nasty experience with clearance merchandise. Really, how was I supposed to know that the green-striped lunchbox was only 60% off when both the blue- and red-striped boxes were clearly discounted 80%?

And then I thought, "I already live in an atmosphere where the media focuses on the negative and sensational." (I love quoting myself! Woohoo!) "I will look for those sometimes elusive random acts of kindness and write about them instead."

Today, my husband did not say anything unkind or judgmental, even when he discovered I had not only a library fine, but a lost book. And library fines are one of his pet peeves.
